SHI FANG Fine Art invites you to experience “Sign and Play”, an evening of video and performance art, on 29. November 2014 at 7:00 PM. Five international artists will be presenting their unique performance, video, and multimedia works in order to present the audience with new experimentations in these media. „Sign and Play“ is not only the title of the event; it also describes an ideal space where it is possible for young media artists to explore new concepts.   The artists featured are german artists Anna Lena Meisenberg and Hanna Koch, Yixiao Cao from China, Tzeshi Lei from Tawain, and Hungarian Robert Olawuyi. The artists are all either currently studying, or have backgrounds studying at the Kunstakademie in Düsseldorf under video artist Prof. Marcel Odenbach, or at the Academy of Media Art in Cologne. They will present the audience with their new experimentations in the form and language of media art. Each brings his or her own unique experience and ideas to the exhibition, and presents their work as a soliloquy to their thoughts and questions about art, at the same time mainting a playful handling of these themes. Music and sound is a supporting element for each piece.
